Východniarska

Východniarska is a mountain ultra trail and long-distance walk for individuals, following the popular Východniarska Hundred. The route runs through the eastern part of the Slovenské Rudohorie mountains, mainly through the Volovské Vtáky, and offers a challenging 85 km run with an elevation gain of +4200 m. The start is in Kluknava and the finish in Kysak, with a time limit of 22 hours. The event is open to the public for participants aged 18 and over and requires proper registration and payment of the start fee.

Registration for competitors is on Thursday in Košice from 16:00 to 20:00 and on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 18:00 to 23:00 at the Biela Dama Čierny Rytier Hotel Castle. Before the start, there is an option to stay overnight in the gymnasium at the Elementary School in Kluknava; participants should bring their own sleeping mats and sleeping bags. Dropbags can be sent to the refreshment station at Vyšný Klátov (56 km), which are handed over on the morning of the race before 8:30 in the elementary school gym in Kluknava. Transportation to Kluknava is available by train and bus; it is recommended to arrive by train to Margeciany and then take a bus to Kluknava. The route is 85 km long with a 22-hour time limit, mandatory equipment including an emergency blanket, GPS, personal cup, and others; dropbags can be sent to the 56 km station. The event also offers the possibility to stay overnight in the gymnasium and transportation by train or bus to Kluknava.
