Veľatský lesný beh

The Veľatský Forest Run is a traditional running event organized by the civic association OZ Stopa in the village of Veľaty. The race takes place at the FK Veľaty sports field and offers courses of various lengths for men and women aged 15 and above, with children's runs held directly on the football pitch. The event is known for its friendly atmosphere, voluntary registration as a donation, and provided refreshments. Throughout the day, volunteers accompany the runners, and results are measured with timing systems, followed by the announcement of winners and distribution of material prizes.

Registration is possible online until September 4, 2024, after which on-site registration is available until 9:30 AM. The start fee is voluntary and in the form of a donation to OZ Stopa. After the last runner finishes, results are announced and prizes are awarded. Parking is secured in designated parking lots with guidance from organizers. The race is conducted according to athletics rules, with participants running at their own risk. Children run immediately after the start of the main disciplines. The course includes forest, asphalt, and gravel sections; the event is open to all age categories; registration can be done online or on-site; the event includes refreshments and commemorative items.
