Varínsky lesný beh

Varín Forest Run is a running event in the foothills of the Malá Fatra, offering scenic routes with views of the Malá Fatra ridge. Runners can choose between a longer 13.7 km route with 600 m of elevation gain and a shorter 6.5 km route with 120 m of elevation gain. The event is ideal for runners and nature lovers who want to enjoy a run in picturesque surroundings. The programme also includes children’s races, and a prize raffle is held after the results are announced. The organisers are Žilinský pedál, XIRIS, AUTOSKLO Stehlík and the municipality of Varín.

Race registration is open from 7:30 to 9:45 at the J. Sobola Sports Complex in Varín. The briefing is at 9:55 for the long course and at 10:15 for the short course. The short course starts at 10:20, and the children’s races begin at 10:30. The results announcement and prize raffle are scheduled for 13:30.
