Slaňaki CUP – Beh do vrchu Dubník

Slaňaki CUP - Dubník Uphill Run is a traditional uphill race held in Zámutov, in the Vranov nad Topľou district. The course is 11.2 km long with 600 metres of elevation gain, and the finish is by Slovakia’s tallest structure, the Dubník transmitter, at an elevation of 318 metres. The race is part of the Slovak Uphill Running Cup and is open to a wide range of male and female runners of different ages. It is organized by Klub otužilcov Vranovské Vydry, Obecný úrad Zámutov and Penzión Kondor Zámutov. The race challenges runners to test their endurance and strength on demanding mountain terrain.

Runners are divided into categories by age and gender, including juniors and men’s and women’s age groups. The start is in front of the Zámutov Municipal Office. The organizers are Klub otužilcov Vranovské Vydry, Obecný úrad Zámutov and Penzión Kondor Zámutov. The race takes place in October 2026; online registration is available. Refreshments and a memorial run are also included.
