Račiansky kros – leto

Račiansky kros LETO is a running event in Bratislava-Rača, offering three courses of varying lengths and elevation gains. The main course is 16 km with 503 m of elevation gain, and another course is 9.5 km with 335 m of elevation gain. Children’s races are also available. The courses run mainly through forest terrain, with some paved sections, and are clearly marked in three ways. The event is suitable for various age groups, with awards for the top finishers in each category. The start is in Knižkova dolina, and the time limit for the main course is 3 hours.

The course is marked in three ways: pink ribbons printed with the race name and attached to trees, white flour arrows on the ground, and laminated arrows on trees (blue, pink, and orange). Number of aid stations: 2 on the 16 km course and 1 on the 9.5 km course. Required equipment: a race bib visibly pinned to the chest. Results are announced shortly after the finish. The course is mainly forest trails with paved sections. Registration is available online or on-site. The event also includes children’s races with medals and prizes, and is part of the Račiansky kros series, which has several editions throughout the year.
