Psotkov memorial

Psotkov Memorial is a traditional mountain running race in the heart of the High Tatras, held near Štrbské Pleso. Runners can choose between two challenging routes: BASIC, 25.3 km long with 1,540 m of elevation gain, and EXTREME, 37.9 km long with 2,490 m of elevation gain. The route passes through picturesque mountain scenery, including a climb to just below the summit of Kriváň, a descent to Tri studničky, a stretch past Jamské pleso and through Furkotská dolina, and a finish at Chata pod Soliskom. The race is part of the Skyrunner® National Series Slovakia and offers a unique running experience in challenging mountain terrain.

Registration is limited to 400 participants (200 for BASIC and 200 for EXTREME). Members of the Slovak Mountaineering Association James are entitled to a discounted entry fee. The EXTREME route is run as a time trial. The start and finish are at the SNOW - Štrba cross-country skiing area, Štrbské Pleso. The time limit is 6 hours for BASIC and 8 hours for EXTREME. The event is limited to 400 participants.
