Nízkotatranská stíhačka

Nízkotatranská stíhačka (NTS) is an ultra trail race for individuals with a main course of 98 km leading from Telgárt to Donovaly across the main ridge of the Low Tatras and a half-distance route ending at Čertovica. The race is a qualifying event for Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc and is ITRA certified. It is organized by the civic association Time Out - OZ in cooperation with STS HIKING and Slovak Ultratrail. NTS offers a challenging mountain course with beautiful views and challenges for experienced mountain runners.

Participant registration is on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 18:00 to 22:00 at ZŠ Telgárt, where the briefing also takes place. The race starts on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 06:00 from Telgárt. The organizer provides luggage transport (drop bags). The participant limit is 200. To register for the main route, qualification requirements must be met. During the race, control points and refreshments are provided. NTS is part of the Slovak Ultra Trail and is ITRA certified. The race is intended for experienced ultramarathon runners, with online registration and qualification criteria. The event also includes shorter routes of 49 km, and the race takes place on July 11 and 12, 2026.
