Race description
The Chopok Marathon is a challenging mountain race in the beautiful Low Tatras, testing your abilities on a variety of surfaces and terrain. The race takes place on September 5, 2026, starting at 7:00 from Srdiečko and finishing on Chopok at an elevation of 2,004 m above sea level. There are two main courses: the 43 km SkyMarathon Chopok with 2,600 m of elevation gain, and the shorter 21 km Sky Race Jasná Trail with 1,400 m of elevation gain. Relay teams are also available on the long course. The route runs along both the southern and northern sides of Chopok, including the main ridge, and offers beautiful views and varied terrain.

A trail race with relay-team options; starts at 07:00 and 10:00; part of the Slovak Skyrunning Association’s calendar; the route runs from Srdiečko to Chopok and back.
