Horský kros Gerlach

The Gerlach Mountain Cross is a traditional mountain uphill run that starts from the village of Gerlachov, passes through the Velická Valley, and ends at the Sliezsky Dom mountain hotel. The course is 8,400 meters long with an elevation gain of 879 meters, and runners traverse a rocky trail and sometimes an asphalt road. The event is suitable for runners who enjoy challenging mountain terrain and beautiful views of the High Tatras. The race also includes children's runs and the option to purchase an entry with original Gerlach Mountain Cross socks.

Maximum capacity of 200 runners. The time limit at Velický Bridge (5.7 km) is 1:30 hours. During the race, refreshments are provided on the course and at the finish line, with transportation of belongings to the finish, and food after the race. Children's races (100-500 meters) are not scored; each child receives a medal and a sweet treat. There is an option to purchase an entry with HKG socks for €7. The race takes place in mountain terrain, registration is possible at the municipal office, and children's races are included.
