Race description
The Hámornický Half Marathon is a traditional running race organized by the Spartak Medzev Running Club as part of the Medzev City Days celebrations. The event includes the half marathon, the accompanying Hámornícka Ten race, and children's categories Hámorníček, which are part of the children's running league. The start is symbolically marked by a hammer strike on an anvil, adding a unique atmosphere to the event. Runners can look forward to nice functional T-shirts, medals with a modern design, and refreshments during the race. The course takes place through a beautiful deep valley with natural beauty and a historic atmosphere of the town of Medzev.

Additional information
Participants receive nice functional T-shirts and medals with a modern design. Children can participate for free in 14 categories with a package of sweets and juice at the finish line. The event is supported by the town of Medzev and the village of Štós, with organizers appreciating help from 2% of taxes. The course also includes a football stadium; registration is available online and on-site; categories for men, women, and seniors.
