Race description
Dukelský Peace Run is one of the oldest and most significant running events in Slovakia, held annually on the first Sunday of September. The course runs from Dukla to the center of Svidník and measures 19 kilometers with an elevation change from 479 meters above sea level at the start to 244 meters above sea level at the finish. Runners pass through a historic route associated with the Carpatho-Dukla Operation, commemorating the victims and the fight for peace in 1944-1945. The event has a rich history and strong emotional significance, attracting both competitive runners and amateurs.

Registration for 2026 is still in preparation. The course is known for its historical significance and challenge for runners, passing through a route once traversed by soldiers during the Carpatho-Dukla Operation. The event also features accompanying race categories such as the Great Health Run and the Small Health Run. The course is approximately 19 km, starting at the Dukla Pass and ending in the pedestrian zone of Svidník. The event includes short runs and inline races, with online registration available until August 2025.
