Dobšinská desiatka

Dobšinská Desiatka is a traditional running race organized by the civic association ŠK Dobšiná, held in the picturesque surroundings of Lányiho Huta in Dobšiná. The race features a varied course combining forest roads and asphalt, suitable for runners in different categories, including Nordic walking. The event also includes activities such as an autograph session with Slovak Olympians and family activities, creating a pleasant atmosphere for all participants.

Race-day registration takes place from 9:00 to 10:45 at Horská chata Stará Horáreň. All main categories have a mass start. The entry fee includes an item made from technical fabric with the race logo, a healthy nutrition product, a race number that also serves as a raffle ticket, and refreshments on the course and after finishing, including a drink and food. A children’s and parents’ relay follows the race. The first three finishers in each category receive cash or material prizes, and a cash reward is paid for breaking the course record. The course is predominantly on forest roads, with a 4/5-to-1/5 split between forest roads and asphalt. Registration is available online and in person at the venue. The event includes categories for different age groups and relay races.
