Čergovský umirak

Čergovský umirak is a mountain run approximately 30 km long with an elevation gain of around 1000 meters, intended for trained runners. The race takes place at the recreational center Drienica, with options for refreshments and additional activities for families. The course runs along marked hiking trails, and participants are required to wear a visible start number on their chest. Safety on the course is provided by the Čergov Mountain Rescue Service, and each participant runs at their own risk. After the last runners finish, there will be an evaluation and award ceremony for the best men and women.

Mandatory equipment: charged mobile phone, minimum 0.5 liter water bottle, aluminum foil in case of bad weather. A joint briefing will be held at 8:30 AM at Chata Ride pub, including familiarization with the course and orientation. Refreshments will be provided. The start number is non-transferable and must be visibly attached to the chest. Safety during the race is secured by the Čergov Mountain Rescue Service. The course is marked as a hiking trail; trail running shoes are recommended. To register, contact the organizers by phone or email.
