Čachtický polmaratón

The Čachtice Half Marathon is a traditional half marathon race taking place on August 22, 2026, in the village of Čachtice. The course mainly runs on asphalt through the streets of Čachtice to Višňové and Hrachovište, with a short section on a forest trail. The profile of the course is slightly hilly with a maximum elevation of 90 meters. The start is at the town square in Čachtice and the finish is in the area of the Elementary School in Čachtice. Refreshment stations are provided at several points along the course.

The maximum number of participants for the half marathon is 250, and for relay teams a maximum of 10 relays. The relay race is a separate category for teams of 3-4 members. Participant registration is on the day of the race from 06:30 to 08:30 at the area of the Čachtice Elementary School. Prizes include monetary awards for 1st to 3rd place in categories and a raffle tombola based on starting numbers. Online registration is available until August 20, 2025. The maximum number of participants is 250, and the race features multiple control points with refreshments.
