The Liberation Run of the town of Strážske is a traditional sporting event that commemorates the anniversary of the town's liberation each year. This 49th edition attracted runners of various age groups, from children to adults, competing on different distances. The atmosphere is sporty and friendly, with awards for the fastest runners and a rich history of winners. The organizer is the town of Strážske in cooperation with the MBO Strážske running club, which supports the development of running sports in the region.

The event has a long-standing tradition with awards for the fastest runners in each category. After the run, prizes are awarded, including a raffle with valuable prizes such as a mountain bike. In the past, over 300 runners participated, including local and international athletes. The event includes several categories, and results and historical winners are publicly available.
