Beh na Minčol

The Minčol Run is a challenging uphill mountain race in the beautiful surroundings of the Višňovská Valley. The route follows a marked hiking trail with steep climbs all the way to the summit of Minčol at an elevation of 1,363 m, where runners can enjoy beautiful views of the Krivánska and Lúčanská parts of the Malá Fatra. The race is for bold runners who want to test their abilities on a demanding course with little room to rest. Refreshments are provided after the finish, followed by an awards ceremony with prizes for the best runners in each category.

Race check-in is from 8:30 to 9:30. Results will be announced shortly after the last runner finishes, at approximately 12:30. There are refreshments on the course at approximately 2 km and at the finish; after the race, lunch is served (homemade kapustnica and a drink). Runners can use a drop bag, which will be transported to the facilities below the ski slope, where the prizes will be presented. The organizers arrange transport of runners’ belongings to the results ceremony venue. Refreshments are provided after the finish, followed by an awards ceremony with prizes for the best runners in each category.
