Beh hrebeňom Čergova

The Run along the Čergov Ridge is the longest mountain race in the Čergov Mountains, intended for nature-running enthusiasts and trained runners. The course starts in the village of Kamenica and passes over the range’s highest peaks, including Minčol, Dvoriská, Solisko, Veľká Javorina, Čergov, Lysá and Sedlo Besná. It is 32 km long, with 1,413 metres of elevation gain. Runners can enjoy stunning panoramic views and challenging terrain on hiking trails. The race takes place on 24 October 2026, starting at 9:00 at Farma Kamenica and finishing at Sedlo Besná, near Hotel Šport Lysá.

A large bus will be provided for all participants, taking them in the morning from the village of Drienica to Kamenica (departing at 7:15 from the car park by Hotel JAVORNÁ). The organisers will also transport participants’ personal belongings from the start to the finish. Race-day registration is open from 7:00 to 8:30 at Farma Kamenica. The awards ceremony and lunch will be held at Hotel Šport Lysá. The race takes place on 24 October 2026 and is open to men and women in various age categories, offering the chance to take part in a mountain trail race amid the beautiful scenery of the Čergov Mountains.
