Beh do Strečnianských hradných schodov

The Run up the Strečno Castle Stairs is a challenging race in Strečno near Žilina, testing your fitness on a course with 151 steps and an elevation gain of 144 metres. The race is open to all youth categories, university students, women and men. The start is at the car park below Strečno Castle, with youth starting at 10:15 and students and adults at 11:45. The event is organised by the Institute of Physical Education of the University of Žilina and OK Žilina, who ensure the event runs smoothly. The entry deadline is 10 May 2026; late entries are possible only in exceptional cases.
