The ALS Charity Run – Ján Svočák Memorial is a mountain trail run in Svit, offering a challenging 21 km course with 950 metres of elevation gain. The course runs mainly through forest (80%) and meadows (20%), with two refreshment stations at kilometres 8 and 16. Alongside the main race, the event also includes children’s races, relays, Nordic walking and a special trail run with a dog. Relays are 3 × 1.7 km with 140 m of elevation gain; the course surface includes forest trail, meadow, asphalt and gravel. Nordic walking takes place on a route that is 90% forest and 10% asphalt. All children’s categories are awarded and results are announced immediately at the finish. ITRA-certified course, 1 qualifying point for ALS 21 km.
